The Lord kalabhairava is the guardian of the travellers.the siddas advice us that before embarking on a journey especially one that involves around or during night,we should make a garland of cashewnuts and decorate bhairav with it.we should light lamp in his honour and request him protection during travel and read kalabhairava ashtasakha.
