Glory of arunachala.

Even a million tongues can not describe ,how the formless supreme being out of compassion took the form of Arunachala
Even a million brahmas come together would fail to narrate his glory satisfactorily
Arunachala in this form was worshipped by brahma, vishnu, soma surya,Agni, Indra dikpalaks, sidda a charanas, yakshas vidhadharas, gandharvas,,nagas, serpants, divine sages, sidda yogis,in order to get rid of their sins and to obtain fulfillment of desires.
Lord of arunagiri is capable of removing all the sins of those who merely see him and of fulfillng all desires of those who worship him.He is capable of granting liberation even to those who utter the word ARUNACHALA
.
Offerings sacrifices japa made in arunachala
Yield immeasurable fruits.the core age of arunachala
Is 3.8million years and this form of hill was duly worshipped by previous 96 brahmas

Lord narayana himself worshipped arunachala .streams rivers and rain waters are absorbed by it,

it's glory gives sight to blind ability to walk, to the lame , children to the childless, speech to the
dumb. He confers all Sindhis cures all diseases

destroys all sins and grants all boons.

Surya lord of the planets in an attempt to cross
over arunachala lost his splendour
,on the advice of brahma worshipped arunachla. He gained strength and one surya does not pass over the red hill but he goes around it.
CHandra regained his original form after curse by Daisha prjapathi . Indra got his position because of worship of

Serpant adishesha worshipped The Lord of red hill and has the strength to bear the earth.
The land with in a radius of 30 miles of this place is known as shiv bhoomi. Those who reside with in this limit will obtain liberation.
Surya resides in the east viswamitra in the south and Varuna in west and trishaladevi in the north. These four gods dwell on the hill in the four directions and bow down to shiva.

Ganga Yamuna Godavari, goddess saraswathi Narmada Sindhi Kaveri.rivers flow unseen around arunachala.
Pradakshina to arunachala

A devotee who does pradikshana  the hill on a Sunday penetrates the region of sun and attains liberation . He gains the world of shiva
Ono Monday he loves from affliction of old age and death.
Tuesday he gets release from all debts
becomesemperor.
Wednesday he becomes omniscient and wise.

Thursday he is worshipped by all devas and attains fame as guru,
Friday brings prosperity and takes him to the abode of vishnu
Saturday brings wonders success  and averts  the ill effects threatened by the planets in ones horoscope.those who suffer physical and mental ailments can do pradikshana.
Neither kailasa nor meru nor mandhara iscomparable to arunachala  for the former one are only the abodes of shiva where as this hill is siva
himself.
This hill is also called as so archaka . This was a fiery hill in Keira yuga and a ruby hill in treat yuga and a hill of gold in dwaparayuga yuga and a rocky hill in Kali Yuga.
Importence of arunachala
Feeding one person in kasi is equal to feeding a lakh of people elsewhere.feeding one poor Brahmin at arunachala is feeding a crore at kasi if is done on a dwadasi day. This is equilent tofeeding a poor through the year.
Lighting deeps at arunachla in thr month of karthiks Kristina star during pradesh a with pradikshana are not born again.all Karla's are
destroyed. On the day karthika going around the hill is equivelent to performing criers of yagna,
He who has darshan of this light  on arunachala hill acquires the merit of having performed great charity and having bathed in sacred river.
Ways to attain liberation

1. Dip holy Ganges at kasi in full faith. Shedding ones mortal coils there.
2.Being born in thiruvaroor,kamalaalaya.
3. Glimpse of dance of 3 eyed one at
chidambaram.
4.visit to vriddahachala where vishnu offered worship to shiva, and received chakra as boon .
5. A pilgrimage to leader nath
6. Darshan a of lord mallikarjuna when brahma worshiped prior to every creation.
Kalahasti, thirupathi, kanchipuram kumbakonam, Madurai, rameshwaram, and many more lead to mufti by mere virtue of birth or death there.
This  arunachla is the center of earth . Parvathidid tapas here and sage gotta a resided here. It is the place where one can obtain liberation here.

Varaha avatara

When you are in the middle of water think of varaha. Varahs was the third avatera of maha vishnu.in whic h he assumed the form of wild boar. Since maha vishnu had saved the earth goddess from drowning in the cosmic ocean we can invoke him to save us from churning waters of this samsar,
He can lift us from the ocean of worldly life infested with dangers.
We need not search anywhere to seek him but look with in ourselves. Just like he came out of the very nostril of brahma in a tiny form he will emanate from with in us and grant us the solace we seek

Vamana avatara

Vamana is the fourth of dasavatar. He who subdued the pride of bali.vaam means vomit since he made Bali vomit his pride therefore called vamana.

Upanishads praise vamana as the one who bestows all his devotees desires. We should think of vamana while starting on a journey in order to have a safe journey.it is the journey we undertake across the ocean of samsar, journey of life.
The story of vamana teaches that what ever you do in life either good or bad surrender to him,you will be liberated. Vamana demanded three steps from Bali,
What does that three stages represent?
It represents three stages of surrender.
Physical surrender to pancha bhootas, this way you surrender to the creator and controller of pancha bhootas and you fully realize that you are made of them
Psychological surrender when we disassociate from our minds from ego pride pain pleasure.we recognise that he is beyond pride and hence try to transcend the mind.
The final act is intellectual surrender which is when you trust god more than your intellect that is
Saranagathi.

It is said  lord has 3 answers for all the prayers. 1. Yes. 2.wait. 3.i have better plan for you.
But he never says no. Trust him he will always bless you.
It is also said he realises god quickest who yearnings are strongest,.

What is maya

Narada was a sage who lived for thousands of years and wandered freely through all the regions of consciousness from heaven to earth.  Narada was on very intimate terms with the Lord, here in the form of Krishna, so he could ask him all forms of questions.  And while they were walking, he asked the Lord, “Sir, can you please explain to me the secret of this magic called maya?”Sri Krishna hesitated, because to understand maya is to understand the whole of life. But Narada was utterly devoted to him, so the Lord replied, “Of course.  Let’s lie down here in the shade and I shall tell you everything. But first, Narada, it’s terribly hot; would you get me a cool glass of water?”
“Right away,” Narada promised, and he set out across the fields.  The sun beat down and though he was a good walker, the little line of thatched cottages on the horizon that marked the nearest village seemed no closer as he strode along.  The heat grew unbearable.  Narada’s throat became parched too; he began to think that he would ask for two glasses of water, and drink the second himself.
Finally he reached the village and ran to the nearest house.  The door opened – and there stood the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.  She smiled up at Narada through long, dark lashes and something happened to him that had never happened before.  All he could do was hem and haw.  Finally he blurted out, “Will you marry me?”  That is the Indian way, you know; you cannot just say, “What are you doing on Saturday night?”
The couple settled down to a life of connubial bliss.  After a while, children began to arrive.  Narada’s became a very animated household. Somebody was always being bathed or dressed; there were meals to get and people to be provided for.  And all these things were filling up their lives.  Narada and his wife became engrossed in their private little world, quietly building their dreams.  Years passed.  The children grew up, went to school, got married; in time, grandchildren arrived.  Narada became the patriarch of a great family, respected by the whole village; his lands stretched to the horizon. He and his wife would look at each other fondly and say, “Don’t you think being grandparents is the greatest thing on earth?”
Then a flood came.  The village fields became a raging river, and before Narada’s helpless eyes, everything that he loved and lived for – his lands, his cattle, his house, but especially his beloved wife and all their children and grandchildren – were swept away.  Of all the village, only he remained.  Unable to watch the destruction, Narada fell to his knees and cried for help from the very depths of his heart.  “Krishna!  Krishna!”
At once, the raging floods disappeared and there was Sri Krishna, standing casually on the fields where they had walked what seemed to be so many years before.  “Narada,” the Lord asked gently, “where is my glass of water?”
  This is maya

The most Beautiful prayer.

Oh! Krishna as the river Ganges forever flows to the sea,let my mind ,my being,be constantly drawn to thee. Oh!most Gentle!,OH!orginal personality!
Master of senses!seated in hearts of all that be existing within and without,Seeing all but seen by none Unto you I offer all my respects.Oh!Krishna,
Oh soul of the universe!beyond the range of our perception, covered by the curtain of misconception.
We are bewildered by you movements.Though you work ,you are inactive,Though you take birth
You are unborn,Though you descend amongst men
And sages, animals and aquatics you are the Transcendental reality, and reveal yourself to the surrendered souls, who worship you in the core of
Your hearts Unto you I offer all my respects.Oh!
KRishna!Eternal Master and Friend! Once you were a small child your mother yashodha took rope to bind you ,your perturbed eyes filled with tears, though fear personified is afraid of you.d
At that moment you were afraid? How can I understand these things?
OH?MY lord I offer all to you.Oh my lord!whose glance is as cool as a lotus who protected us from a great fire, from a poisoned cake, from cannibals, from the wicked assembly of the kurus
From suffering in exile from fierce battle ,from a devastating weapon,YOU befriended guided us and stated with us,through all tribulations.
I offer myself to you,MY lord you loving kindness and mercy often come guided in strange guises,
Enveloped in shroud of tribulation !Yet life is made easy by these hardships you provide.
Oh! Lord let us not falsely claim that this world is our home, let us not ever forget that this place is full of danger and let the calamities come again and again that we may remember you and meet with you again and again.for remembering you we no longer meet with reap eyed births and deaths.
Oh Krishna!those who always hear your glories, who always repeat your glories ,who always see you in all things ,who always take pleasure in your pastimes, certainly find shelter
At your lotus feet.
My lord you can be easily approached only by those who are exhausted with sensual pleasure unimpressed with opulence, unimpressed with fame and wealth with prestigious birth and schlorship, only by those who are finished with idle talk, mundane beauty and all forms of religiousity.
My lord! Iam not afraid to be abandoned  by luck by good fortune, by friends and relatives iam not afraid to be handled roughly ,Iam not afraid to wander streets like a beggar,Iam not afraid to be cats away.condemned, or exiled .Oh!Most gentle!Oh! Holy merciful master!help me prepare me do whatever is necessary to render fit this unworthy soul for entrance into your eternal abode.
